Warranty Information
Claim Process Please contact your dealer if you believe that
you need warranty repair work performed on your trailer. Your dealer will
contact a United Trailers warranty service representative to process your
claim. If approved, your dealer may be authorized to perform the repair
work onsite, or United may request that your trailer is returned to the
factory for repairs. Do not return your trailer directly to the United
factory without prior claim approval and scheduling through your dealer.
5-Year Limited Warranty Does hereby warrant the below listed
product for five (5) years to the original purchaser. This warranty covers
defects in materials and workmanship by United Trailers and does not include
warranties on the following specified products used in the manufacturing of
this product. These components or products may or may not have their own
warranties (Example): tires, wheels, axles, jacks, couplers, fiberglass
components, widows, doors, awnings, and electrical fixtures and/or components.
These items warranted by our suppliers are not warranted by United Trailers.
Excluded from this five-year warranty are windows, doors, electrical and
plumbing parts, seals, paint, undercoating, plywood, aluminum components,
and fiberglass parts. These are warranted for one (1) year from the date of
purchase for the original purchaser. Paint is not included in our warranty.
For component parts, the warranty claim will be presented to the respective
component manufacturer. The United Trailer warranty will be honored if the
product is returned to United or a repair facility authorized by United.
Reasonable notification and time will be allowed for performing warranty
repairs. Loss of time/use, inconvenience, rental of substitute equipment,
loss of revenues, or other commercial loss is not included in this warranty.
Any service charges, towing charges, or transportation costs are the responsibility
of the purchaser. This warranty is void if the product has been misused in any way.
This includes overloading, improper load distribution, lack of preventive maintenance,
or use for other than what the trailer was designed for. United reserves the right to
determine whether the product was misused in any way. |
